It is with a bittersweet sadness that I am posting about the closing of my studio. As of Feb. 2011 I had to close my business. With the ready access of all things creative and digital available to the public, many professionals are experiencing a dramatic down sizing in their customer base. Add to that a struggling economy, many of us are making the decision to move on to other things. I have enjoyed creating portrait art for the past 30 years and consider it a privilege to have been able to be apart of so many peoples important times in their lives. On the other hand, I am very happy to be free of the stresses of running a business and have enjoyed my time off these last several weeks.
I look forward to where God is leading my family in the coming months and want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who remained faithful to me and my studio for many years. You made my life much richer.

As much as I try to bring each persons personality out in their portraits, it still helps if we can do something that is personal to you. Props, location, interest etc. bring a twist to your images that no one else will have.

Attention!
Students involved in Fall sports or activities that take a lot of your time once school starts.
August is your last chance to get a session booked without the hassle of juggling practice and time to get an appointment before all the sessions are booked. Football players, I know it is tradition to do crazy things with your hair etc. just remember there is a yearbook deadline and after the season is over, it is too late. Plus, now is the time to get all those images with your uniforms and on the field shots!
